Well Testing is a complex procedure and as a Board Certified NACHI Well Tester I can perform all levels of testing.
QUESTION: How often should a private well be tested?
ANSWER: Test it once each year for common bacteriological contaminants and general potability, and every three years for harmful chemicals.
Testing is also recommended whenever:
*Ownership of the property Is changing.
*There are known problems with well water In the Immediate area.
*There have been problems at or near the well, induding flooding, land disturbances, and waste disposal Issues.
*You replace or repair any part of your well system.
